Building Capacity 3

Still on the journey to building capacity Previous posts on #BuildingCapacity can be read  here The second approach to building capacity: SEEK MOTIVATION Motivation is food for dreams. Many things can't be done, and many heights won't be reached without motivation. A seller has to define the profit of a product while you listen, then you can reach out for your purse to benefit from the product. You could have passed by it without knowing what great benefit it had, which you needed, if you hadn't been motivated by the seller. Motivation built interest that was worth investing. Motivation pushes one to make a move; building capacity. On the quest for motivation: Read books: they help shape thinking and psyche. Building Capacity 2

Yesterday, 4th August, 2016, an introduction to building capacity started and can be read  here KNOW YOUR GOD! Reading about who God is, is just not enough; a relationship with Him is what really counts. A relationship with God is the first approach to building capacity: it takes your mind off the irrelevance of life and sets your face like a flint. Daniel 11:32 KJV ...but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits . The "do" puts an ephasis on knowing God to do exploit. When one's been invested in to capacity, then one does exploit. Knowing God through a relationship with Him is very important in building capacity worth investing. Seek to know God. Watch this space for the second approach to building capacity tomorrow, 6th August, 2016.

Decisions and choices during this period are key too. The parable of the talents illustrates a scenario of three servants- their ages not told. They were given talents which can be likened to an investment. The spotlight is on the fact that they were given according to their "ability" and not "piety." A mentor once said they were given to capacity. If piety were a consideration, the servant who ended up with one talent should have had the most: he was pious; he feared his master the most  and wouldn't want to offend him in any way; but he hadn't capacity worth investing more than one talent. The above is an evidence that proves the fact that nobody is willing to invest much in anybody without capacity, enough to contain. The amount of content is dependent on the capacity of ...
