Be Positive

You cannot become unless you believe you can become. How's that possible? By being positive.

At some points, one may tend to exhibit some emotions and actions which may not be consciously imposed. One may tend to fear what lies ahead. A college graduate for instance fearing what lies ahead after graduation; fearing what may become considering the situation and events surrounding the present.

It's quite simple: Take note of fear, and tackle it with faith; take note of pessimism and tackle with optimism; take note of feelings of incapability and tackle with a mind set to capability. By doing so, there will be an inner surge, a feeling to do something extraordinary, something different; you want to make impact, you feel like everything and everyone's depending on you.

I've spoken with different set of teenagers, and a good number of them fear they won't be the person they wish to be. Another set of them feel like they are not sure they want to be an adult any sooner. Some of them are totally clueless; they just live as the days come, with no idea of what they really want for themselves.
This is perfect time to start! build an inner surge and feel the energy, start off with positive thoughts.

Don't just let it stay within, let it tell on you: what you say, the way you schedule your time, what you get yourself engaged with. Be positive!

The ant teaches wisdom, which is learned by observation—lesson from the ants. #1- Activity with foresight

Building Capacity

The teen and youth ages are transitory periods. The adulthood is dependent on them and the childhood look forward to them. Major changes occur that shapes one during this period. Decisions and choices during this period are key too. The parable of the talents illustrates a scenario of three servants- their ages not told. They were given talents which can be likened to an investment. The spotlight is on the fact that they were given according to their "ability" and not "piety." A mentor once said they were given to capacity. If piety were a consideration, the servant who ended up with one talent should have had the most: he was pious; he feared his master the most  and wouldn't want to offend him in any way; but he hadn't capacity worth investing more than one talent. The above is an evidence that proves the fact that nobody is willing to invest much in anybody without capacity, enough to contain. The amount of content is dependent on the capacity of ...
